Why is this important?

Fresh fruits and vegetables are the ultimate fuel for your body. They are high in nutrients and fiber and low in calories. Just like your car needs the right grade of gasoline to function properly, our bodies are the same. If you use poor quality gasoline in your car, it will ultimately breakdown. Without a diet containing plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, ultimately our bodies will also break down. A diet lacking vegetables is directly correlated with many chronic diseases and cancers.
