WHAT IS A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?
A healthy lifestyle is made up of the daily choices you make, which will help you maintain or improve your overall health and wellbeing. These choices involve your sleep routine, your stress management, your outlook and mindset and your exercise and nutrition. Once you become more aware of your habits, you’ll realize that much more is within your control than you might think. We have developed a set of healthy guidelines below based on the latest research from leading institutions, lifestyle medicine experts and behavioral scientists. It’s our goal to help people meet and exceed these recommended guidelines and help them feel their best.
RENDLE’S HEALTHY LIFESTYLE GUIDELINES:
· Sleeping at least 7 quality hours per night
· Walking a minimum of 30 minutes per day
· Consuming at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day
· Engaging in strength training 2 or more times per week
· Not smoking
· Not drinking too many calories

There is a common misperception that a healthy lifestyle is just exercising and trying to eat healthily. When you are sleep deprived, very stressed and/or unhappy, you are missing key components of a healthy lifestyle. We believe a healthy lifestyle starts with investing in the quality of your sleep, stress management, mindfulness and positivity. That will pave the way to sustainability.

We define HEALTHY LIFESTYLE LITERACY as the degree to which an individual has the capacity to obtain, communicate, process, and understand the basic facts that enable them to make healthy lifestyle choices.
