🦉 EAT AT LEAST 3 SERVINGS OF VEGETABLES PER DAY
Why is this important?
Vegetables are the ultimate fuel for your body. They are high in nutrients and fiber and low in calories. Just like your car needs the right grade of gasoline to function properly, our bodies are the same. If you use poor quality gasoline in your car, it will ultimately breakdown. Without a diet containing plenty of vegetables, ultimately our bodies will also break down. A diet lacking vegetables is directly correlated with many chronic diseases and cancers.
Eating vegetables will help maintain a healthy weight:
Because of their high nutrient and high fiber content, consuming a lot of vegetables helps prevent overeating and helps maintain a healthy weight.
Still not convinced why every meal should contain vegetables?
We encourage you to look up William Li’s work. William is a world-renowned physician, scientist, speaker, and author of EAT TO BEAT DISEASE. In this book William describes how we can prevent and overcome disease by eating healthy foods, especially vegetables.
