Have a healthy breakfast
Your morning routine sets the tone for rest of the day. Start off with a healthy breakfast to provide your body with the fuel it needs. This should include some fresh fruit and whole grains. Try to add some vegetables. For example, you can mix spinach with your scrambled eggs or add some to a smoothie.
Why you should not skip breakfast
Skipping breakfast is associated with increased risk of obesity. Exceptions are when you’re doing intermittent fasting for a specific timeline and you have the help from a nutritionist or doctor.
Avoid foods that are full of empty calories
Processed and sugary foods can cause you to overeat. They will also make you hungry again because your body does not get the nutrients it needs. Avoid hidden sugars in your breakfast foods. Many studies show that a healthy breakfast helps prevent weight gain and can help you eat more healthily throughout the day.
