We’ve measured your current readiness for lifestyle improvement by comparing your desires to your willingness to invest in your lifestyle. If your DESIRE is not matched by your WILLINGNESS to put in the effort, you will not be successful.
It’s important to understand the difference between your DESIRE and your WILLINGNESS.
Let’s make this clear with an example. Imagine, that you would like to speak French, because you think it’s a beautiful language.
Simply liking the French language by itself is not enough to become a good speaker. Only if you’re willing to study and practice frequently, will you master the French language. In summary, success can only be achieved if the desire to learn French is matched by a willingness to put in the effort to study and practice it regularly. The same concept applies to your health and lifestyle.
D = DESIRE
We first look at your health goals or DESIRES. We measure the degree to which you DESIRE to:
maintain good health
lose weight
reduce stress
become fitter and/or
become happier
W = WILLINGNESS
We then see if your DESIRE is matched by a WILLINGNESS to invest in your lifestyle. We measure the degree to which you exhibit the WILLINGNESS to:
invest adequately in lifestyle
invest adequately in sleep
invest adequately in nutrition
invest adequately in exercise and daily physical activity
G = GAP
When the WILLINGNESS to put in the effort is insufficient, we display a GAP. Our analytics will rank the lack of readiness for lifestyle improvement depending on the size of the GAP from 1 to 3, with 3 being the largest GAP. We highlight the lifestyle area that has a GAP and needs improvement with a red THUMBS DOWN image.
A SMALL GAP indicates you’re not READY yet to make improvements in one area of your lifestyle.
A LARGE GAP means you’re not READY yet to make improvements in two areas of your lifestyle.
A VERY LARGE GAP means you’re not READY yet to make improvements in three areas of your lifestyle.
The larger the gap, the more challenging it will be to achieve health goals.
GAP LEVEL 1 = SMALL GAP
GAP LEVEL 2 = LARGE GAP
GAP LEVEL 3 = VERY LARGE GAP
THUMBS DOWN IF:
You’ve indicated you don’t want to improve in a category and you scored less than “good” in that category.
The gap is the area you need improvement. It’s caused by either unawareness or an unwillingness to improve. The goal is to close your gap.
THUMBS UP IF:
You already exhibit good or excellent habits in that lifestyle category or
You don’t exhibit good habits yet, but you indicated you are willing to improve this category.
If you only see blue THUMBS UP images in your LIFESTYLE SNAPSHOT, it means you’re RENDLE READY.
