Consume vegetables with every meal
Vegetables are the ultimate fuel for your body. They are high in nutrients and fiber, and low in calories. Just like your car needs the right grade of fuel to function properly, our bodies need the right fuel. If you use poor quality gasoline in your car, it will ultimately breakdown. Without a diet containing plenty of vegetables, ultimately our bodies will also break down. A diet lacking vegetables is directly correlated with many chronic diseases and cancers.
Eating vegetables will help maintain a healthy weight
The high nutrient and high fiber content of vegetables helps prevent overeating. Whether you are trying to lose weight or you simply want to maintain your current weight, you should always try to eat vegetables with every meal.
